Does acrylic overlay damage nails. The process to soak off acrylic nails from home is super easy safe and quick when done correctly. For me I dont see any damage to my original nail. Not v clear sorry.
Your nails were already damaged by all the pre-filing to get the oil off your nails for the acrylic to adhere. But the nail will stay right in place until its time for me to get it taken care of. Sometimes even immaculately cared for nails can begin to show damage from acrylic nails.
Actually gel or acrylic overlays are not good for nails. Pure Acetone is the best way for sure. I think it depends on your original nail consistency.
Instead gel overlay provides a very natural clean and simplified look. This will ensure that you are able to save your natural nails from damage or pain. Gel overlay does not extend the nail or give it any length like the purpose behind artificial nails.
No extension is used so whether you do it on long or short nails depend on you. Question is can I put acrylic overlay on to make nail look better and normal or not as to not further cause damage. Choose soak-off gel nails instead of acrylic nails.
For those looking at gel overlays we have all the answers that. In fact if you have a shorter nail bed it is easier to fix a form and overlay to give you the desired length. It can be painted on top of the bare nail bed and cured simply under.
